To build fan engagement and digital reach across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to strengthen event identity for the HBF Run for a Reason, an annual charity fun-run held in Perth’s CBD.
Willett created fresh content and leveraged existing channels to increase consumer awareness and engagement with the event.
Willett Marketing provided key event information for participants to share among their networks, motivational ‘memes’, ran a number of incentivised competitions throughout the campaign and live tweeted the event. In addition to this Willett used Facebook advertising to encourage page likes and event entries.
An increase of 86% on Facebook page likes and172% on Twitter followers. There was a significant audience interaction with the event across each social media platform and #HBFRun was trending in Perth on event day.
