POSITION – Senior Account Manager – Digital


The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the professional delivery of the Willett Marketing service to Digital clients reporting to the Director – Community.

Primary areas of responsibility and focus are:
• Accounts as assigned
• Current Business Growth and New Business development

Skills and Attributes:
• Three to five years’ experience in digital and social media
• You can demonstrate high level strategic and creative thinking
• You have proven experience in overseeing high impact social media campaigns that deliver measureable outcomes
• You display a keen interest in new business development and collaboration in new business pitches and presentations
• You have an impressive knowledge of digital and social media platforms and experience with social media integration into activations
• You demonstrate a solutions based attitude to challenging internal and/or client situations
• Your attention to detail is exceptional
• Your management and delivery of project plans, timelines, budgets and briefing documents is second to none.
• You have a proven ability to manage key stake holders (client, other agencies, suppliers etc)
• You always display initiative and constantly look for value add to client accounts where possible
• You are energetic, love to work hard and you love to have fun doing it
• You mentor and educate junior staff, leading by example
• You are a strong team leader

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Client satisfaction and growth of current business
• Positive working relationship with group account staff, other Willett support staff and the team as a whole
• Achievement of overall group account revenue targets
• Acquisition of new business

Key Duties:

Management Duties
• Initiate, develop and implement Willett Marketing client work management strategies
• Nurture and build client relationships with key client contacts
• Develop and prosper relationships and look for new areas that have potential business possibilities
• Initiate and lead creative activations for client partnerships in conjunction with the Partnership and Events teams
• Develop and present creative proposals to client
• Manage and ensure accurate project records, documentation and budgets

Client Liaison
• Initiate and lead client activation solutions
• Initiate, develop and implement sponsorship strategies relative to the client objectives
• Regular Liaison and Reporting with client in relation to the agreed plans and ad hoc activity
• Execute reporting and evaluation systems
• Attend events as necessary and where appropriate host sponsorship activities on behalf of and in place of client
• Respond to ad hoc inquiries from client with a “CAN DO” approach

Digital
• Digital and social creative and strategic planning
• Strategic integration of digital with activation
• Overseeing content creation, including copy, imagery, and vision
• Copyediting for social, long-form article, eDM and web
• Social community management direction
• Targeted ad spend strategy and execution across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Analytical social and digital reporting, across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Analytics
Client Budgets
• Manage client’s relevant budgets as directed by client
• Ensure that all work/production is produced on time and within budget
• Ensure accountability for all expenditures

Willett Marketing Internal Liaison Duties
• Maintain annual events calendar and resourcing plan, ensuring agreement of all timelines
• Ensure seamless co-ordination with Willett marketing teams and services 
• Manage account management staff overseeing WIP documents, Contact Reports and with regard to all account project and client administrative service responsibilities
• Oversee the internal coordination of systems devised by Willett Marketing specific to client requirements (ie Asset Register/Sponsorship Requests etc)

Additional Duties Required Of All Willett Marketing Employees:
• As directed by Senior Management support Willett Marketing staff on other activities as requested
• Provide administrative backup when necessary
• Assist in tasks related to New Business Development
• Follow procedures and processes as set out by Willett Marketing policy
• Maintain comprehensive records of production costs incurred executing client business
• Follow business and office procedures as directed by Directors and the Office Manager

Nature of Willett Marketing Business

We are a service industry providing support to our clients for events and sponsorships, which means we are not always in control of our hours of work. Nine to six are our core hours however weekend and evening work are often part of the normal workload. A part of this job is to fulfil the needs of our clients, out of hours if necessary, to ensure that the clients’ objectives are met.
